
Peoria Fashion Week 2025 was a huge success thanks to all the Models, Designers and Performers that contributed in many ways. Among those who stood out to Iconique Magazine was Rapper “Coldsaint”. He is an American Rapper and songwriter from Norwalk, Iowa that took stage and performed his hit single “State of Mind”. He had the crowd energized and the models walking to perfection to the sound of the beat. Coldsaint has a stage presence that is beyond compare. You can really feel his music as well as hear it. He brings a heart-felt, in your face approach to Hip Hop. The kind of rap music you would expect to hear from the likes of Tupac and Eminem. You actually hear it up close and personal at Peoria Fashion Week 2025 which was an added bonus for the Fashion Show.
His flow goes from “Tragedy to Triumph” to turning “Pain into Purpose” His music and message emphasize that 10% of overcoming challenges is the problem itself, while 90% is how you handle it. He uses his experiences to create meaningful and inspiring music.

Noah David St. John, professionally recognized by the stage name Coldsaint, is an accomplished American rapper, singer, and songwriter. His early life was marked by a tumultuous journey, grappling with a series of familial challenges and mental health struggles, including confrontations with alcoholism, homelessness, and both physical and emotional abuse. Embracing music as a means of preserving his well-being and surmounting these adversities, he aspires to kindle resilience and fortitude in others through the transformative force of Hip-Hop.
Hailing from Norwalk, Iowa, Noah commenced his musical pursuits at the tender age of 10, amidst the backdrop of residing with his mother and her successive abusive partners. Struggling to cope with his mother’s battle with cancer and the turmoil inflicted by her companions, Noah assumed the persona of Coldsaint at the age of 13. Following his expulsion from his mother’s home at 15 decided by his stepfather, he endured a period of homelessness lasting four months before relocating to Indianola, Iowa, to live with his father. This transition to a new community presented a large life adjustment, prompting Coldsaint to redirect his focus from assimilation to the cultivation of his musical talents. In 2014, he formally embarked on his professional music career.
Despite contending with myriad challenges throughout his academic tenure, Coldsaint demonstrated unwavering perseverance, culminating in his graduation from Indianola High School in 2018.
Coldsaint’s artistic journey began to unfold at the age of 14, as he claimed the top accolade at a Talent show hosted by Norwalk High School. His performances have graced notable venues such as Hoyt Sherman Place and Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines, Blue Moose Tap House in Iowa City, and the Rock Island Supper Club in Illinois. Notably, his exceptional talent earned him the distinction of being one of the rare Hip-Hop artists to participate in the Bill O’Riley Talent Contest at the Iowa State Fair, where he achieved semi-finalist status. His musical endeavors extended internationally, with a tour in Thailand in 2019, where he enthralled audiences at the International Folklore Festival. Presently at the age of 24, now announced 2024 best hip hop artist by the Iowa Music Awards. He remains dedicated to nurturing his musical craft and cultivating his fan base in Norwalk, Iowa.
