ICONIQUE MAGAZINE FOOD REVIEW: Grand Slam Pizza; Jerk Chicken Pizza!
First of all I just want to say that if you eat anything for this fine Pizza establishment, I cannot guarantee you that you will not be hooked, This Pizza can be very addictive and may cause instant over-eating and salivating for more. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! 🚨

Upon entry, I took note that this is not just your average pizza restaurant, but a family oriented restaurant. This feel that I got was that you can have a business meeting here in the daytime and entertain the family here in the evening. Everything was clean and organized and the restroom was very clean. (Side note: If I go to any restaurant and the restroom is not clean, then I will leave immediately) This is the first thing I check, even at a five start restaurant. I don’t play about my cleanliness.
As I was seated, I told the staff that I’m here to do a food review on their best pizza 🍕 and I was offered their famous Oxtail Pizza. Not a big fan of it. I’m sure it was delicious but I chose another fan favorite, The Jerk Chicken Pizza. The staff also suggested that I try their Baked Wings and their very own Homemade Lemonade.
The Wings 🐓
Omg. The lemon pepper wings are fire 🔥. They are very good. The wings taste was not overwhelming or overpowering. They was not too peppery or salty. I believe that’s the difference when frying chicken versus baking your wings. This is how wings should taste. I was reminded that Grand Slam Pizza does not fry their meat and poultry. They bake everything.
The staff gave me the choice to get Ranch or Blue Cheese. I choose my favorite blue cheese.
I’m gonna say this, These wings are a hit especially with the lemon pepper and blue cheese combination. I would add these wings any pizza order.
Now for the Pizza 🍕
I never had a jerk pizza until now. This hand-crafted pizza is very delicious, spicy and very flavorful. It’s has a lavender taste among all the other flavors on this pizza. The Jerk Chicken was very soft and tender with every bite. The heat from the chicken and the fresh grated cheese made for an excellent experience that I believe everyone would enjoy.
Get this, even the dough is made fresh “by hand” a day before serving to the customers. The crust was sweet and tasty just like how I like it. Even the homemade marinara sauce deserves an award.
To the Lemonade 🥤
Talk about having an explosion of flavors in your mouth all at one time. This Lemonade was very delicious. It was smooth and refreshing. It taste like heaven in a bottle. They wouldn’t tell me the secret ingredients, but the combinations of what I tasted was so good, I wouldn’t share it either with anyone. LOL
If you are in Atlanta or in Kennesaw Georgia it’s a must that you come and support this Hand Crafted Pizza Establishment. Your visit will be well worth it.
