Featured Chef – Chef Stanford

He began to audition for more rolls in film, and entertainment. Moving on to becoming the number one Stage Manager for all the major Gospel Stage Plays that have toured in and out of the country. He’s worked alongside greats like Tyler Perry, David Talbert, David Payton, Adrian Williamson. Although his first love has always been cooking. Growing up as a kid it was always a joy as he fancied sitting at the other end of the counter watching his grandmother Ms. Bessie Estelle Barnette doing what she does best, and that was preparing to feed the community.

Feeding family and always people whom she never knew had always given her a sense of purpose. Mother of the neighborhood she was, even after her passing the neighborhood still craved the love that was served on a plate. Chef Stanford, then understood the meaning of being a servant. A servant is called, so he answered by putting himself out there even more, Chef Stanford’s talents from that point has taken him through doors that only God himself could have orchestrated.

Chef has had the opportunity to cook for such notables as, NEW EDITION, KEITH SWEAT, BOBBY BROWN, ARRON HALL and GUY, TEDDY RILEY, TANK, J-STYLZ, SHIRLEY CEASAR, DOROTHY NORWOOD, CEDRIC THE ENTERTAINER, MIKE EPPS, DJ YOUNG FLY, EARTHQUAKE, DL HUGHLEY, just to name a few.

As previously stated, Chef Stanford, is always looking to take his talents to higher heights and now introducing his recipe of The Original Sweet and Tangy BBQ Sauce along with his Cajun Seasonings. He’s just getting started, so stay tuned as his talents are scheduled to take him to Abu Dhabi mid-September 2024, as he will be the featured Chef to cook for the Power Slap competition headlining The Crazy Hawaiian.
