Bella Milano – The Art of Italian

ICONIQUE MAGAZINE FOOD REVIEW – GARLIC GRILLED CHEESE –

A blend of melted mozzarella, smoked Gouda and cheddar cheese grilled on garlic butter sourdough bread with the house made tomato basil soup. 

The Tomato basil soup is delicious. Whenever I see tomato and basil on any menu, I just have to try it and to my amazement, this soup is divine. A perfect blend of spices came together to make a delicious soup that I will eat over and over again. 

Ooops! I ate up all the soup before eating the grilled cheese!!!

As I began to eat the grilled cheese, I noticed the gooeyness of the cheese running from the sandwich saying hurry up and eat me. Upon first bite, the crunch of the sourdough was to be expected and as I sank my teeth into this, it here was a soft and smooth feeling of accomplishment as the cheese blends cake together in my mouth developing and hunger for more. Then I decided to dip some into my soup and noticed it was all gone. 

The cheeses are well incorporated into this meal. You might say that this is just a glorified grilled cheese sandwich and my response will be “May I have another please?” 

There is not one start of this show, The Grilled Cheese and the soup is a perfect combination and together they make for an award winning meal for lunch or brunch. 

I suggest you come try it for yourself. Bella Milano is a local chain branch with a varied Italian menu of pizzas, pastas, entrees & cocktails located in O’Fallon Illinois 

PSA eat the soup with the grilled cheese and not separate.  Thank me later. 

This meal was around $16 and was well worth it. They call it their “Seasonal Favorites”. I think it should be offered year round.
