MUSIC VIDEO FOR “LOVE ON THE BRAIN” FEATURING HUNXHO
SET TO SUPPORT LIL WAYNE ON TOUR THIS WINTER LISTEN HERE I WATCH HERE

January 24, 2025 – Picking up steam as the artist to watch in 2025, Anella—formerly known as Anella Herim—serves up the next installment of his acclaimed fan favorite “Nellavision” series, Season 4: I Need You, out now via Def Jam Recordings. Listen HERE. The three-pack lands in tandem with the music video for the single “Love On The Brain” featuring HUNXHO. Watch HERE.
On the fourth iteration of this ongoing body of work, Anella continues to stretch and shape his genre-bending signature style. “Love On The Brain” hinges on a deftly plucked guitar loop and head-nodding beat. The core vocal transfixes as he croons, “Maybe you should stop thinking about what we had before you tell me it ain’t love on the brain.”HUNXHO counters with an instantly recognizable verse, and the accompanying visual highlights their chemistry on-screen. Then, there’s “650 Destinations” where warbling synths underscore Anella’s delivery topped off with an escapist fantasy, “650 destinations—way more than you need.” Elsewhere, he gets in his feelings on the lovestruck “Juliana”as he reminds, “That’s my baby, that’s my darling.”
It follows the success of Season 3: I Made You. Its standout “Don’t HMU” clocked over 7.7 million Spotify streams in addition to cracking the Top 10 of the Spotify US Viral 50 Chart. He also turned up with a stunning From The Block performance, generating nearly half a million YouTube views and counting. Upon arrival, EARMILK proclaimed, “With an adaptable sound and cult following, he is an integral part of the next generation of music.”
Next up, Anella joins one of the hottest tours of the year. He will support Lil Wayne on a string of dates, beginning on February 27 in Indianapolis, IN at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and concluding on March 15 in Raleigh, NC at Lenovo Center.

ABOUT ANELLA HERIM:
Singer, songwriter, rapper Anella Herim was raised in Trinity, North Carolina, where he was born on Nov. 22, 2001. His father worked in the church as the worship leader and with his encouragement, Anella started playing drums at age four. By the time he entered his freshman year of high school, Anella had joined the chorus and discovered the GarageBand app. He began recording his own music at home using just his iPhone and headphones. Working a typical job was unfulfilling to the emerging young artist, so he started turning his talent into income by playing at local bars and restaurants.
In early 2020, while playing at the Boxbar Arcade in Greensboro, Anella was approached by Malik Clark of Definitely Out Grinding Records (D.O.G Records). By July, Malik had signed up Anella to perform at the No Stress Fest in Winston-Salem. There he first met DJ ESudd, and the two started working together soon after. “I feel Anella is a breath of fresh air to the world,” said DJ ESudd. “Not only is the music soul touching but his personality is also amazing.”
Anella partnered with Def Jam Recordings in 2022, releasing his label debut in November, “In A Mood,” followed by “Let’s Be Honest” featuring Brooklyn rapper 26AR (January 2023), and “Tequila” (February). In November, he dropped “The Layover,” a 2-song bundle including “Fly” and “For You.” Anella, now doing music full time, also enjoys hanging out with friends, who are part of his creative process, and traveling especially when it is to perform for fans. With his undeniable talent, insane work ethic, and a solid team around him, Anella Herim is ready to take on the world.
